I am a geeky, nerdy, goth, with over 100 board games and barely anyone to play them with, I've been reading mainly scifi and fantasy books since I was 3 years old which is all my dad's fault. I did a degree in Molecular Biology and then figured out I didn't like working in a lab...so that wasn't great, still find the science interesting to read and learn but less interesting to actually do. I currently work in a bookstore, which is fun at times.

Been watching anime since I was 4 years old, that's over 4 decades of watching anime, reading books, and generally being geeky. I've attended cons, run cons, and still help staff at least one a year just to be around fellow nerds as that's where I'm most comfortable. I like to hit people with swords (both metal ones in fencing, re-enactments, and fake ones at LARP), shoot things with arrows, ride horses, sail boats, and if it wasn't for how many things I do that use computers feel I may have been born in the wrong century, well that and I'm female, can't imagine I'd like living in the past given that.

I'm on the autistic spectrum, which might explain a lot about how I am and how I've written this introduction, it's not the most concise or the most normal of online bios. I can't tell if something is TMI or not and I don't really understand the social mores that seem to be self evident to most people anywhere I've lived.

I've never been to any American Continent.

I'm not sure I ever will, not sure I want to, to be honest...

I am European, I've lived in England, Germany, Belgium, Finland, The Netherlands, and Malta. I've finally lived somewhere for more than three years in a row having lived in Malta for over ten years now... it's weird not moving so much.

I don't have a place I'm "from", home has always been where my family are. Although we're split up now, so it's where my dogs and cats are I guess. All of them are rescues, all my pets have been, they are my family and I love them more than I've ever loved anyone who isn't part of my family, which isn't going to change as I don't do relationships.

Want to know more you can always ask, but I do often just answer without wondering what you might want to hear, what might be socially acceptable to say, or anything beyond what I think is the correct answer.

I have read more manga than is listed, I just gave up trying to input it all...I read a lot, normal books and Manga, like a *lot*, I average between one and five normal books a day (or more if I'm reading Manga) depending on their size and how close it is to August 2nd (that was the day my mum died and for a few years after that I just couldn't bring myself to read and I regress a bit every year around that date, I think because she is the person who taught me how to read and grief can be weird like that), so I decided not to bother putting that list together after all.
