Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita node, Kokuhaku shitemita is a fluffy romance anime, so you should know that there's no drama, meaningful conflict, or any blood-pumping fight scenes despite it being a fantasy anime. It's just a story where the author wants to say, "HEY, LOOK AT THIS CUTE STORY I MADE ,NOW SAY 'AWWWWW.'"

So don't expect any life changing, wildly original plot when you watch this. Just relax and let your toes curl.

This ... anime is also an isekai, but it doesn't really contribute to the story other than to tell us that our MC, Youki, is an S-tier chuunibyou who was reincarnated as a demon but remains human inside, so he's "nicer" than most demons. But it doesn't really matter, because some demons are nice too, not just him.

Now, I did mention that he's a chuunibyou, and for some people that trait might be cringy, especially coming from a guy but don't worry. Here it works perfectly because the world is almost as wacky as his act, when he goes full chuunibyou it just feels silly at worst and cute at best, and I can't help but smile.

There are also bits and jokes in this anime that genuinely make me laugh. One of them is when Youki tries to visit his vice guild master in the hospital. The guild master is covered in bandages like he just fought a mutant bear or something. Youki says, "Damn, that's a nasty wound ,what happened?" and the guild master replies, "I made my wife angry."

Also, this is a slow-burn romance, so don't expect smooching and tongue-to-tongue action anytime soon. And the whole romance isn't only between the two MCs, so don't worry ,every character gets their time to shine.

Overall a very enjoyable, happy anime. I really recommend watching this after you finish a depressing show.

It is true that this is just another isekai slop, but it's my type of garbage. There isn't really any kind of plot going on, it feels more like a slice of life rather than an adventure or a fantasy story. The first episode will make you go "well, this actually looks promising" then moving on you will realize that cliche's start to happen one after another.

Just asking myself, why did this have to be an isekai? Main character got reincarnated and had given a bunch of cheat skills, yea okay got it but why? He could have just been an overpowered demon born in ... a fantasy world. Nothing changed. In fact this story got its main theme, isekai, just because ML said "Do you know that I actually got reincarnated?" out of a sudden and then FML goes "yea okay". That's the entire contribution "isekai" did to this story.

Let's talk about romance, the author wants us to think that the female lead has no interest in the male lead at the beginning, but for some unknown reason she acts like she does. The entire series is focused on the relationship of those two but it is for some reason forced to be a slow-burn romance that improves in a very unstable manner. It's a dragged out romance story, classic example of sucking up the attention of audience until there is nothing left but boredom. Author tries to spend some time with the side characters that may be enjoyable if you like the vibes.

Why did I give it a good score? Because it's overall an average romance anime with decent animation and some fantasy elements coupled with the comedic part that kicks in once you realize nothing in this story ever makes sense.

Tensei Shitara Simp Datta - Reincarnated as a Simp

The story starts with a kid who falls for a girl for no real reason other than “she’s cute.” He gets rejected, but instead of moving on, he starts simping hard. The girl keeps him around for some unclear reason that has nothing to do with empathy or acting like a decent person.

After watching way too much anime, I’ve learned one thing about some authors: they care more about living out their fantasies and obsessions than telling a solid story. Because of that, I have a strong feeling this ... show will just drag the simping on forever and never let the two actually get together, I'd bet on it.

The show is technically an isekai and is packed with other random tropes, but none of them matter. In fact, if you skipped the first 12 minutes of episode one, you wouldn’t even know it’s an isekai, and none of those tropes would feel missing.

The art and animation are cheap, though still slightly better than the average low-effort isekai fantasy. The music and sound design are also very forgettable, but at least they aren't annoying.

In the end, I really don’t get how people find this cute, I see very little reason to stick with this show.
