Every Uma Musume by semi-release order.
(by that I mean, I bunched together some of the series that are connected to each other, so it’s not exactly the release order but still mainly is.)

There are three “routes” in Uma Musume: The Main Route, the Road To The Top route, and the Cinderella Gray Route.

Each of the main entries are based off the real careers of different Japanese racehorses, so no alternate-world-shenanigans.

However, the different routes don’t interact with each other aside from some character cameos, callbacks, and references.

This means you can watch them in any order, however, this is the optimal way to get into the anime in my opinion.

Umayon and Umayuru are shorts that can be skipped but give good coverage of more obscure characters. The difference is that Umayuru has a (very) loose narrative while Umayon is completely random.

Start with Pretty Derby Season 1, 2, and 3 in that order. You should watch BNW no Chikai BEFORE you start Season 2.

Then watch Road to the Top. After, watch Shin Jidai no Tobira since it’s closely connected to it.

Finally, complete Cinderella Gray parts 1 and 2.
