After watching episode 6
. You might think his original spells were a*s pulls. This episode is too short for me forcing me to the point I read the latest manga chapter. Trust me guys, the reason why he is OP is getting explained and progressing fine. This show is cooking and I want to help it even by little to boost it's popularity so that they will adapt more. Enjoy guys!

The animation definitely had a status boost and delivered a few IMPACTs lol

Even though we get quite a few of these copy and paste magical dungeon / MC is beyond OP, this one is shaping up to truly stand on its own.

@Liental Keep watching bud, it's not much like the top tier animes out there like vinland, aot, jjk etc. but it's worth it.

I felt exactly like that, he just reveals every op power that exists in this universe out of his ass. It felt like a joke. It was really bad. I really hope they just do as you said and give reasonal explaining as well.

@Himura_Jay No worries, these shows regularly make it into my watchlist in seasonal line ups for my guilty pleasure of isekai slop and fantasy shows being main genres I enjoy outside of just watching most genres. I already think this show is step above from what I consider to be mid. Since there's levels when it comes to the mediocrity of story telling in isekai slop, well fantasy in this case.

it feels really forced though. I mean, starting with the fact that the hero team has the "chinese drama" type of thinking
(-it's your fault!
- *shows proof it's not*
-it's still your fault, am angry, uf!)
to the fact that he's that strong without leaking some aura to his team. I can certainly say that if I fight along someone for this long, they will know most of my skills.
*we are still at disadvantage, but i have prepared my enchantments for the purpose of helping my team, but I will not show them the most op spells because I will use them for when I am alone* cool, brother.

@BuciSlayer you will understand soon why most of the hero's party acts like that. It was also in the manga.

I definitely felt the same frustration @Liental did (to the point of yelling at my TV repeatedly 😅), and i accept the justification @Himura_Jay provided for the group’s (in)actions, but the episode (and maybe the sauce too? IDK) did a poor job of conveying those reasons and making the situation look like anything other than a bunch of characters standing around being useless, providing situationally out-of-place exposition, and doing absolutely nothing to even TRY to escape 😓 Even something as simple as one single line from Selma acknowledging the teleport crystal, but reasoning “we can’t reach it because blah-blah-blah…” would have gone a loooong way towards believability 🫤
