I don’t like those religious ritual stuff, but intermittent fasting (16/8) is good. Just don’t do water fasting for too long, cause it’s dangerous.

I do the Christian fast which is no meat (among other things, my grandma for example also gives up olive oil) for the duration of Lent (40 days). 100% doable.

| It's hard at first but after the second day the hunger pain suddenly goes away and you feel fine... but no idea how long you continue to feel fine for. The first 24 hours are terrible though |

Not drinking water doesn't seem like a good idea, even going without electrolytes is bad.
