I thought you were white?

And why do you type like a brainrotted 15 year old?

I can probably do it if I lay under a tree the whole day in summer time

fasting isn't difficult, but I do think it is somewhat pointless when food is available in abudance.
I have approximately 1 terabyte of anime on my computer.

I don’t like those religious ritual stuff, but intermittent fasting (16/8) is good. Just don’t do water fasting for too long, cause it’s dangerous.

@ymiriii its not. the whole idea of fasting till sunset is wrong cause its not good for the body. and doing it for a whole month is insane

I do the Christian fast which is no meat (among other things, my grandma for example also gives up olive oil) for the duration of Lent (40 days). 100% doable.

Depends on the type and duration.

Soup fasting is easy and healthy.

It's hard at first but after the second day the hunger pain suddenly goes away and you feel fine... but no idea how long you continue to feel fine for. The first 24 hours are terrible though

The water part can be a bit concerning, but you know, nothing really wrong with intermittent fasting for food.

Fasting is hard for me but maybe I will train to get stronger and hopefully my body will be able to handle stressors such as low caloric intake (fasting)

Yes. I've never fasted for Lent. In our family, we tend to eat lightly and cheaply anyway all year.

I've actually fasted for almost a whole solid week in the past, definitely takes willpower and you need to keep your mind busy.

Asks the Muslims on how they survive during Ramadan. :)

I heard they drink a lot of water before sunrise. They work out less during Ramadan to avoid dehydration~

After sundown, they rush to eat food and drink a lot of water~

No, it is common for me to not eat for most the day on some days and I have gone as long as a week with no food. Not drinking water doesn't seem like a good idea, even going without electrolytes is bad.

Some pagans do this too.

Hmmm, my Yoga teacher who had learnt the traditional Indian style of fasting in an Ashram, used to say that one day isn't fasting, it's simply "not eating".
If you want your body to even start detoxifying and regenerating, you should fast at least 3 days.
Tho, dry fasting isn't needed nor healthy for most cases. Keeping the body well hydrated is important. You can even drink herbal teas, e.g. detoxifying ones, etc. Of course without sugar.
It's inversely difficult to your motivation and your willpower. Usually the first day it's easy, the second you start wondering why are you doing this, the third tends to put you to the test, but then it becomes easier again, and again hard etc. It's related to the bio-rhythms of different parts of the body.
You can make it easier if you focus on the positive aspect of fasting, on what you gain.
I mean, instinctively when fasting the body feels that it's losing something, your mind also feels the same. You find yourself thinking "I am renouncing to food". But you can rewire this and think that you are GAINING detoxification, you're gaining regeneration, you are gaining weight loss (if you fast long enough, and it won't work anyway for some people, and if it works it's useless if you don't change eating patterns). You are getting rid of dirt in your body. Etc.

Btw, if you are going to fast for 3 or more days you should clean your gut first. The Indian method is brutal, not for the weak willed. The alternative method is with Epsom Salt (a potent laxative). Fasting with the intestine full of shit isn't nice for the body.

Muslims do fast the whole month in Ramadan and its not that difficult tbh.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

Only fatties with no willpower think different.

I have periods where I eat once every 2 days, it's not a big deal. Like, you think you'll be starving but you actually stop feeling hungry after a certain point.
