Is it worth as a 2nd watching ?

Hello there,
First post here.

I've been watching One Piece for a while now, up to episode 1155.
And it's been almost two years since I decided to start watching it again from the beginning.

Since my memories of Fishman island arc date back to when it aired around 2012, I wondered if as a second viewing, it was worth watching this condensed version, or whether it would be better to watch the original 57 episodes ?

I wouldn't, the pacing got sped up too much, and the fights looked worse.

I recommend you watch this, except for the last episode that CLEARLY skips lots of content

There is a big problem with this adaptation of Fishman Island. Even if the original was a bit longer than it should have been, this new adaptation cuts so many funny scenes and feels way too rushed. So from my perspective, its a clear no.

I say yes if you want it to look better and not take as long. But if you enjoy luxuriating on fishman island then just watch the original again.

watch the orginal fishman island.
the remake has way too fast pacing, they leave out too many good parts.

Agreed, up until then the way more palatable pacing is so worth it and the touched up art doesn't hurt either
