Ye, I think as Rimuru is not male nor female.

I remember one episode where he said he was losing track of his "real" identity (to be male as he was in his previous life), as if he was getting used to his new 'neither male nor female' identity. But as you mentioned, I think he also once said that in deep he still sees himself as male. I think it's a mixed gender identity Rimuru has, which is cool making things more interesting.

Watched the youtube video, those are impressive Ai. Ai is getting better at it over the time that for a moment I thought if those were real cosplayers or not xD

They were all nice, but if I were to choose a few to make little changes to make them perfect, my choices would be:
- Frey (make her hair a little more pink-ish; she's looking blond-ish, and her eyes a bit more yellow-ish).
- Albis (her long line of bangs, which is missing on the Ai)
- Elmesia (also no bangs on the Ai).
- Rimuru (mixed feelings here; looks nice but maybe would have been nicer if he looked less masculine)

Extra: Shion is just missing her little bangs close to her horns, but that is me being nitpick. She looks very nice.

Curiously male characters were all in all on point.

By the way, Rimuru in his past life he was a dude, right? Then as a slime and as current Rimuru we could say he's neither male nor female? Right? I remember he once said "I lost -or start to losing- my male identity - not physically talking, but mentally", as if his male self were fading away and he's now neither male or female. There is also the fact that he "absorbed" Shizue.

In the end, he's now neither she or he. Right?

The only thing we are sure is that in his past life he was male.

about the story:
numbers of ppl get transmigrated/transported in to another world and start as small village lords, they have like in strategy games town hall (where u make builder who also mine and cut trees, but they do the building like players, thein base doesn't have builder unit function its just their base/home), its their mansion as well, cause how things turns out MC ends up in EVIL camp/faction (well what most natives see as evil, got of death faction/undead faction, like necromancer but not, necromancer has spells to rise the dead but he has to build a building that converts bones in to skeleton warriors) and he has skill called multiplayer (i call it cheat, u see why soon), he makes 1unit/skeleton also spending recourse for1 but gets 100 free units, new tell me that this isn't a cheat lol

so all need building for units, for peasants and soldiers and for other stuff like strategy games, when it comes to MC both roles can be done by skeleton warriors, hes ferry first unit type

when he get new type of monster or creature and feeds it to the conversion building he gets that creature as hes new undead unit, example if he kills troll and feeds it to it he can start making skeleton trolls, but remorse's are any bones, he doesn't need troll bones to create more bones, but i think the mass matter, like maybe 4human size creature bones for 1troll

he gets along most lords, but cause ppl don't know about hes cheat they are cocky and when he outs 1in the area chat (one used hes name to low key scam) so that1 got mad and and said hes gonna kill mc and started making troops for it, but he had hes way to spy so he knew and he attacked before that idiot could and even made a picture of beheading that idiot to warn ppl not to mess with him, incase any1 else gets some dumb ideas, hes good to ppl close to him but ruthless with enemies

they have books of lords and yes it has chat sys like game UI sys

so its strategy game and open world game in one, 2 in one

lords can consume other lords books in to their book of lords and then take out small version of the book of lords, the one with small book is a lord of vessel state, vessel city

time to time sys gives them mission what are separate from that world, example later they get lords co-op missions (in game terms PVE missions), so basically they half to form groups, mc had 2 in hes group and they were transported in to instance and they won


MC made many near by orc tribes in to hes vessel states, well started with 1gobold tribe seeing a easy pray and wanting to get what mc has, they got beaten hard and survivor ran to orc tribe to cry, this started chain reaction, so he didn't have peace for long time, cause after some time another tribe discovered that their vessel tribe was conquered and then they decided to attack, they didn't care who was right and who was wrong cause blunder (bandit way) is orc way of life, so between conflicts he has some time in peace but not for long


he has skill to take control one of hes units at the time, he uses it as safety measure, takes control of 1skeleton to leads hes troops to avoid getting killed, but he is also enhancing hes body with potions as another safety measure, but at that state it would be easy to kill him at hes pace why he does it behind locked doors so others don't see hes state and find out, if he does it in hes base then he has few heroes to guard him, high lvl hero, orange can even sense/detect stealth

its harem but harem is side dish not main focus

i cant count how many women he already has (over 6 it gets hard to count from my mind, to remember them all, he has more then any harem anime) 😆, to avoid spoilers i don't mention names


part 19 he has more women already then any mc in any harem anime, new woman loyalty gets to 100 (if some1 is part of hes land he can view their loyalty) and she already makes a move on him, if its native female that becomes part of hes camp u can be sure she falls for him, even among the isekai ppl (ppl who were transported there, in the story they are called transmigrates) they tend to fall for him, the ones that interact with him more, so far there is 2, one mite not realize that yet but sings are there, like her becoming ultra happy when that 1isekai lady told her fang talks about her a lot, one older like in 30s at least if not early 40s she says she wants to get close to him but she comes off as messing around, like when he absorbed her book of lords she sat on her lap and said new i am urs and he was speechless cause he knows if he responds she just makes it worse, i guess that's why hes cold towards her when it comes to romance, cause she makes it look like she is just messing around/trying to tease


but harem is a side dish not main focus of the story, he totally has embraced that harem is OK in that world, that ladies who want him are ok with it (thought not many practice it it, so far he seems the only1 lol), more so with maids, it has a rule that maids that know 2much about family cant marry, so master of the house has to take care of maids to (i mean also be like their husband, at least inside the house, this includes reproducing)

His healing seems OP also his defense.

Characters are also likeable.

Ye, this anime has very low mean score, but so far it is enjoyable. Mean scores aren't trustful though (I mean, there lots of enjoyable animes low scored and meh animes high scored).
