Honestly, I didn’t expect to watch this anime, let alone enjoy it as much as I did. I had already judged it by the art style and the way the characters looked, thinking it wasn’t going to be my thing. I even saw a small snippet on TikTok that didn’t grab my interest at all. I don't really like hyped animes.
But my friend, who had only seen Episode 1, decided to put it on, and before we knew it, we had binged our way through to the next season. The OP is bomb!
What really pulled me in was the dynamic between the main characters. Their personalities bounce off each other in a way that feels refreshingly natural—there’s awkwardness, banter, and genuine reactions that make them more relatable than your typical anime duo. The comedic timing is sharp, and the humor often hits when you least expect it, especially with the quirky older characters like the Granny and the Grandmother, who add a whole extra layer of charm to the show.
The fights themselves are surprisingly engaging. They balance intense action with creative visuals, making each confrontation feel distinct. There’s a mix of high-energy, supernatural brawls and tense, some moments that keep you invested without overcomplicating things. Some sequences take their time building up, but it does make up for it, by not being overwhelming.
I think you should give it a watch and form your own opinions.
