Bandai Namco you massacred our beloved show.

Just let the show die peacefully. I can't bare to see you kill it so profusely each week. Just let it end, offer Saitama and Garo some solace and hand over the IP license to a company that will do it justice - I don't care if it's Netflix, Crunchyroll or hell Disney. I'd rather watch Disney's version of a live adaptation of one punch man than whatever this abomination is.

The only reason I'm not giving a one is out of respect for our ONE punch man.

2/10

Please let us grieve what could've been without desecrating the ...

Are you a healthy, hard working adult? If so then I would stay clear of this show at all costs, it may actually cost your health. Otherwise come watch this show, it's a free one way trip to getting you diagnosed with diabetes! The demon king's daughter is indeed too kind! You'll ingest so much sweetness that within no time at all you'll have to start getting yourself a stockpile of insulin to survive this show without dying.

Aside from the sweetness, this show doesn't have too much else to offer. It can be pretty funny, but it's mostly cute and sweet. 7/10, Very sweet, ...

The single greatest work I have ever seen, everything from ep 1 all the way to the end comes together perfectly and it is mind-blowing ESPECIALLY on a rewatch (on my 3rd rewatch and playing the VN as of right now). Steins Gate starts off comedic, confusing, silly and slightly mysterious. during those first few episodes you get to briefly know and build a connection to the "important" characters and their personalities which where all very unique and lovable to me, as well as minor hints that there is something major going on behind the scenes.

In my opinion the introduction of this show is executed ...

Well... The title didn't lie one bit.So at the very least i admire their honesty.

It's isekai. It's an OP Main character. The setup on it's own when it all starts isn't anything different. It becomes something more on the way. I honestly very much despise op MCs. I care not for the reasoning.Having them never break a sweat is just not something that moves me in any way shape or form.Now... From what i've understood this first season was actually rushed. And honestly i can say.Im quite certain we were supposed to see far more of Hajime's descent until he finds Yue. And the manga covers that(again ...

Champignon no Majo feels like watching a story gently unfold, almost as if someone is narrating a tale page by page. It reminded me a lot of shoujo anime from around 2009, at least that was the impression it gave me.

The story follows a witch named Lua, a very kind and gentle character who, despite that, is not welcomed by humans. Because of this, she is forced to live in isolation, unable to interact with people. To put it simply, the anime is quite dramatic, but not in a negative way, just a bit persistent during the first few episodes.

What caught my attention the most ...

Watch this show! That's my quick recommendation, watch it because its good.

Why? My answer is down below.
___________________________________________________________

This show is one of my favorite simple shows out there. It has lots of the basic anime tropes (school festivals, beach episodes, the study arc, the episodes where the characters gets mad at each other, that one episode...., etc.) but this shows just brings them out perfectly. One thing that I love about this show is that a lot of the characters matter, from the beginning to the end, from the first episodes till the end.

I watched Naruto few years back, around 2022 and I ...

I’ve watched some bad anime in my time but this takes the cake for me.

The writing (or at least the “localization”) is way too political and reads like a string of nonsensical opinions taken directly from Reddit and 4Chan. The premise is kinda ridiculous to begin with but we live in an era where an anime about a dude being reincarnated as a vending machine is somewhat popular so I was willing to look past that but there really isn’t a shred of substance or deep-thinking (which wouldn’t be an issue if this series wasn’t trying to pretend like there is).

Seriously, don’t waste your time ...

Such an underrated movie. It may not be on-par with Spirited Away or Grave of the Fireflies, but it's still a very wonderful story. The plot follows this young girl named Arriety, who is basically the Ghibli version of Thumbelina. In this world, Arriety and her parents are called "borrowers," little people who live underneath the homes of humans. They "borrow" stuff that nobody will find amiss - such as sugar cubes, pins, or buttons - and use them for their daily needs. One day, Arriety meets Shawn, a human boy who recently moved into his parents old house. This could spell trouble for Arriety, ...

For the most part a brilliant anime
While there where the tell tale signs of some lose ends forming, the bulk of the story's delicate themes were handled masterfully, with a very detailed psychological analysis of the characters which gave the show both a lot of intrigue and depth

However it completely lost me in the last few episodes
What was meant to be a very emotional twist completely derailed the developement that was built thus far, creating more lose ends than ever all whilst certain characters personalities take a complete 180 and bad behaviour gets way too romanticized for my taste

black lagoon is an anime synthesis of jackie chan and john woo and quentin tarantino. it's crime and girls with guns and deals gone wrong and splashy, fun ultraviolence. if i had to show like, a normal friend an anime series, it would probably be black lagoon. because it's sort of divorced from a lot of the sort of genre conventions that usually come with a show like this, mainly in how much of its writing is grounded in real-world places, cultures, and ethnicities. the lagoon company are people i could meet on a bus or in a bar or at a shooting range-- people ...

Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season Episode 6.5, Zankoku Douwa: Utsukushi-hime (The Cruel Fairy Tale: The Beautiful Princess), is more of a concentrated storytelling experience than a typical episode of an anime series. Instead of being a part of the ongoing narrative, it serves as a mythological origin story for Shinobu Oshino, stripping away her usual, playful personality to expose the terrifying deity of Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade in its most raw and unadulterated form.

In terms of visuals, the episode ditches the fast-paced SHAFT editing style in favor of a more conservative and storybook-like approach. The pop-out book style of the episode gives each scene a ...

a sort of throughline to my jojos experience has been that araki has continually been getting me to love things that i usually just can't fucking stand in media. it just keeps happening; he'll approach something i usually hate at an angle that has me blinking and sitting up straight and going oh. well then, i guess i'll be thinking about this forever now.

i went into the end of stone ocean thinking there's genuinely no fucking way that he will be able to pull off a satisfying ending to this. there's just no practical way to execute a resonant, satisfying ending to what has been ...

It started pretty well, and the plot (even tho probably cliche) is entertaining so far...BUT.
Even tho characters and scenes are good, the fight scenes are pretty 2000s-ish, which is rough since its supposed to be action anime. Also while the conspiracy seems entertaining for now, as I mentioned it is pretty cliche and predictable...but I will give it few more EPs and update this.

Right now its hard to recommend, but not a waste of time. But if you can wait a bit and watch smth else I would do that

Story about an isekaied demon (lord?) who falls in love with cute girl in hero's party. It looked like after he got rejected and quit demoning we will get an action adventure with single love interest....You might see why I had pretty high hopes after 1st ep.

But 5 episodes in and instead of questing adventure to earn "honest" money, we got multiple dates, some fights outsourced from early 2000s and a protagonist that despite bein strong, acts like a push over and speedruns all the cliches of bad writing.
TL:DR Save your time, watch smth from your backlog, check it again after season if it got ...

This is an avant garde anime that gives me (and most likely others) a new experience which is extreme uncomfortable feeling by using extreme body horror, which the anime nailed it with the weird art style, abomination characters design, the characters actions, the voice-over, etc.

This anime is made to be not enjoyable for majority of people, including me, but it does gives you new experience of what animation can do, which is one of the main goal of avant garde/experimental works, so that is why i gave it 7/10, not because i enjoyed it, but because it is successful for being one of the most ...

I just finished Re:Zero Season 3 and I have to say, it completely lived up to my expectations — easily a 10/10 for me. This season was bold and ambitious, especially with how it adapted the Attack and Counterattack arcs, bringing huge battles, intense strategy, and some of the most complex stakes we’ve seen so far in the series.
What really stood out was how this season broadened the world and deepened the emotional and political landscape without losing the heart of the story. Subaru isn’t just repeating old struggles — you can feel his growth in every move he makes and every decision he leads ...

I think that in a market where there is a bit of an oversaturation of "otome player reincarnated as villain with bad fate but resists yet doesn't ever realize they have escaped being a villainess", this anime is such a breath of fresh air, especially Alicia as a character. Instead of avoiding being a villainess, she actively strives towards it. By no means is it the holy grail of anime, but it was very enjoyable and the plot was more interesting than i would have thought. Altogether, i think it's worth a try even if you're burned out on otome game villainess reincarnations.

The movie was incredibly animated, i loved the story it told and how it went against heteronormativity

The art style of this film was very fitting, and amazingly executed, with jaw dropping scenes with beautiful colors.

The story was slightly predictable, but still majorly unique. Their character progression was very satisfactory

The distinct characterization of all of the characters is very well-rounded, their unique personalities feel thought out, and they all have their flaws.

The characters' reactions to the events of the film never felt out of character, although some slightly unrealistic reactions for comedic/plot reasons were made, they never felt unsatisfactory.

This is not a 10/10 for me ...

The anime has a unique premise: a nobleman born blind in a world of magic. This story caught my attention, but after four episodes, I realized the story wasn't at all what I expected.
What disappointed me most about this anime is how his blindness, after the second episode, has no impact on the anime. He somehow, in a way that isn't very well explained, manages to see colors with magic, but soon he's able to live normally.
The difficulties he should face due to being blind aren't shown. His ability to see with magic makes sense, but it shouldn't be identical to someone with normal vision. ...

I started this anime without high expectations, and I ended up completely in love with it. What a beautiful, emotional, and heart-warming story! 💕
From the very first episodes, you can already feel the strong Yuri atmosphere — nothing forced, nothing shallow. The relationship between the main girls develops naturally and emotionally, making every moment feel meaningful and real.
What I loved the most:
✨ Well-written and charming female characters
💞 Amazing chemistry between the leads (the looks, jealousy, tender moments — everything!)
🎭 Emotional development that keeps you invested
🎨 Gorgeous anime-style art and expressions
🎶 A soundtrack that perfectly matches the romantic scenes

If you liked shows like Campfire Cooking in Another World or Farming Life in Another World - this should be a good fit!
I feel like most reviewers so far went into it expecting a fast-pace battle-filled Isekai story with lots of dark and mature themes, and were instantly put-off by the slightly lighter tone and slower pace of this anime. To me it feels more like a "what if I was a dragon" slow-burn slice of life kind of thing with similar vibes to Dragon Goes House-Hunting than your typical Isekai.

But that doesn't mean that there is no action or cataclysms at stake! I took ...

This is perhaps the most amazing and heartfelt film I have ever watched. The way the animation plays out is truly breathtaking. I nearly feel like crying in most parts of the film. And the fights are insanely action-packed and seeing the city getting decimated is really great. There's no flaws at all, I think this is my most favorite film thus far.

The art style fits really well in the film. The characters have great designs and well played out. Even though they barely have any screentime, they still have great impacted other than Luo Xiaohei and Wuxian who at first have a bad encounter ...

It is extremely boring.

First - animation is near dead in the show. Studio Deen maid this anime probably on the budget of one burger. Especcially go into episode 5 - half scenes we are just looking at stale pictures.

Second and more important - story is really boring. They are not really building solid romance. I don't know why we should believe in setting and it's pretext. Like how exactly it is ok to do what Indolark is doing in their medieval world? And if it is not ok, why he reacts tje way he do. It all just doesn't make sense and the most ...

As I've been reading the manga since 2024 and loving this series, I'm delighted by the animation and everything of the anime. It's been a while since we have gotten a cute, wholesome, fun, slow burn rom-com shoujo series with interesting cast of characters.

Characters: What's unique about this series is that the characters and their b-side personalities which makes this series really funny. Our FMC Utage is also one of the best girl in shoujo. This anime is amazing from first episode to last, I loved this anime very much and I will be waiting for a season 2! I like everything about this anime except for the fact that it tries to emulate western culture in a realistic way, but fails miserably at it. So it looks like a parody of itself. It seems to me that the author of the manga thinks Twitter is what western culture looks like, so in the anime we have a lot of preaching, basic phylosophical arguments that a 5 year old could have, virtue signaling, and characters acting and speaking in very unnatural ways overall. The protagonist is always spewing some basic phrases, for example I just watched episode 5 and she says stuff like "I'm ...

AMÉN, VIVAN LOS GAYS

I really don't like the isekais because generally, they are boring or repetitive, BUT THIS ONE IS NOT. It actually has a good work on its hands. I'm interested on the story and their world (which is a miracle), and, of course, I LOVE MY GAY PEOPLE. Aresh is the cutest and a LOVEEE Sei workaholic behaviour. He's so random, I love him

On the other hand, I kept an eye on the manga and it's marvelous how frame by frame the animation studio take it and animated. That's definitely a win for me.

This is a "good" show so far, and I completely understand why it stands out, but it is insane that this can be even considered remotely comparable to anything on MAL top 50 or even 200. Unfortunately, S2 took everything bad about S1 and amplified it.

The vision is fabulous. If Frieren actually achieved its intention of being a calm, thoughtful fantasy experience focused on exploring heartwarming connection against the backdrop of magical wonder I would genuinely rate it a 10... but unfortunately its semi-powerful moments are spoiled by the fact that most of the actual screen time is slop and the writing garbage absolutely devoid ...

It is 2026, and your favorite Instagram pages are likely still flooding your feed with AI-generated "Dark Fantasy" slideshows making your wettest dream wet. These accounts capitalize on a specific, grainy, gothic atmosphere because they are too lazy to actually pick up a pen. If you want to see the actual blueprint—the raw, hand-drawn data that your favorite "whimsical" 808 artists are slapping onto their album covers—look no further. Vampire Hunter D is the peak. It is the definitive achievement of dark fantasy art.

This anime stands out because of its really wild concept.
We follow a class whose goal is to kill their teacher. Despite the basic premise, you can quickly get drawn into it. I
t’s also an anime full of emotions. It’s hard to talk about without spoilers, but you can get a good sense of it from the very first episode.
The anime stay realistic in his own story.
Everyone can like this story, just need to try.

The main issue with this anime is that there are some slow moments. It sometimes turns into a slice of life.
Nothing to say more.

I would still recommend this anime despite some of its flaws, as every anime is ultimately judged subjectively, based on personal taste rather than just the plot or other factors. I will therefore continue by sharing my overall impression.
The story starts right away with the main characters, introducing their personalities, their way of being, and the relationship between the two, with its ups and downs, something I genuinely appreciated. As the story progresses, we are gradually introduced to the characters’ backstories and to this virtual world (something we’ve already seen many times, but still a nice attempt at worldbuilding, even though very little of ...

Demon Slayer (Kimetsu No Yaiba) is bittersweet. You really want to come back for the animation, but at the same time, you know the story is going to disappoint.

If you’re coming in expecting a season different from 2 or 3, you’re in the wrong place. The formula is the same: new location, new Pillar, a humorous start, then a fight. There’s not much more depth than that.

I think the pattern of “I doubt -> flashback -> I become overpowered” was already overused in season 1, and now it’s just too much.

On top of that, dragging out fights for 30 episodes, with each time a character ...

This second season is a disappointment. The first season had stunning animation, well-developed characters, a story that built up nicely, and great fights. This second season, however, adds nothing to the first. It’s basically fight after fight from start to finish.

Even though it’s well animated, the battles feel dragged out too long. They try to make a lot out of the animation, but in the end, it’s not really worth it. You could really skip straight to season 3 without missing anything.

If you just want to see good animation, go for it. But an anime isn’t just about pretty visuals.

Right off the bat its mystery is very engaging and keeps you on edge. It's the kind of setting where anything could go wrong at any moment. Having watched The Boys, whenever there was a still shot of someone smiling or something I would immediately imagine that their head would be cut off or something. Really engaging and because of its shocking scenes, really emotional. I was attached to the characters almost instantly.

Soundtrack was good (excluding OPs and endings), it had a recurring theme and was effective. I wouldn’t say it was outstanding though. I’ve thought numerous times that some sound effects sounded familiar like ...

The second season of Solo Leveling keeps doing what the series does best: pure spectacle. The animation remains at a very high level, with intense, well-choreographed action scenes that are visually striking and make each episode fly by. The sound design and OST also play a big role in building that constant epic atmosphere, especially during the most tense moments.
Jinwoo continues to be the main focus of the story, and his growth is clearly the driving force of the season. For fans of power fantasy, the show delivers exactly what it promises. That said, the pacing feels very fast. Some parts move a bit too ...

I watched this the year it came out. I was in highschool at this time, went through some tough times during those period. This film healed something within me. It's kinds of like a self-help modern fantasy set-up that's predominantly touching something realistic at the same time adding the imagination of how fantasy can help you in times of difficulty. Art style is more on the semi-realistic side, i must say when it's bright, it's bright-bright. The family that was centered here had some character growth and realizations here and there. Bittersweet and had that hanging or lasting feeling right after watching it. Recommended to ...

Violet Evergarden

I found Violet Evergarden to be a story about self-discovery and connection, following Violet as she sets upon her journey in her new life as herself. She is an orphan who knew nothing of normalcy, unable to understand beyond her life as a living weapon on the battlefield. Now in peacetime, she must find her place in the world and at the same time learn about the connections that tie people together all while understanding what it means to be human, to have a heart.

I'm giving this an 8 just because I really liked the movie and the OST. It's also ironic I gave it an 8, considering that number is the main drawback of this series. The Melancholy of Harui Suzumiya is a high-school slice-of-life anime sprinkled with a bit of fantasy, mystery, and fan-service. Personally, I didn't think the fan-service was that intrusive. If you get a hard-on from 2000s art style, then you might need to slow down on the gooning. I can't really call this a harem-isekai since Koizumi is also there, and the show is based in the real world. I also can't call ...

You do have to admire Tsui Hark for even daring to attempt creating an animated reinterpretation of one of Hong Kong cinema's most beloved supernatural romances. Rather than trying to outdo the iconic 1987 live-action film, this fascinating, if often overlooked, animated version reimagines the story through stylised visuals and heightened emotional clarity. It's as frenetic as any Tsui Hark production, with the animation embracing a storybook aesthetic; it's visually enthralling with lots of fluid character movement, expressive faces and backgrounds that feel pulled from classical Chinese ink paintings. Forests drift in mist, spirits glide rather than walk and the supernatural elements feel ethereal instead ...

Wise Man’s Grandchild starts off strong and tricks you into thinking you’re about to watch something decent. The setup is interesting, the power fantasy is there, and expectations are high… for about five episodes.

After that, it becomes painfully obvious the author has no idea where the story is going. The plot doesn’t move forward — it just exists. Conflicts appear, get instantly solved, and then we’re back to dragging things out like there’s a word quota to meet.

And let’s talk about the isekai “twist.” The main character supposedly has memories from his previous life, but you’d never know it. Those memories don’t affect his personality, ...

Although not my style, it's in Chibi-form and there are a lot of characters: 27 in total, I highly recommend Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru Churutto!

I didn't try to learn all the characters, but I just feel the vibe: they were simply lovely, kawaii, oishi and hontōni shiawase; cheerful and truly happy! I can also say that the characters are all very well-rounded and totally (ir)realistic.

A beautifully done anime that isn't afraid to jump into exploring some of the most horrific themes around mental health, trauma and bullying. The characters are well constructed, not having any one person you can absolutely hate (other than the parents), and the contrast between bright Takopi and the bleak surroundings only serves to further highlight how horrific the situations truly are.

My only gripe with this series was the development of Shizuka - I didn't find her arc entirely faithful to her character development, and some of her reactions felt oddly out of place.

Pretty solid isekai. Not too crazy compared to a lot but I really enjoyed this other-side of isekai where the mc goes for revenge. The characters were very different and felt fitting by the end of the anime. Good development and skipped a lot of random scenes which i actually preferred than seeing the same lvl up narratives in most newer isekai/ fantasy anime. Wondering if/ how they would develop a continuation of the story? Characters has good personalities and nice art style to them as well. You may not feel like you’re watching something completely new, but what you will get is an anime that handles familiar clichés really well. And honestly, I think what matters most isn’t how original something is, but how well it’s executed.

The main characters are genuinely great. The male lead might seem emotionally distant at first, but he’s not the typical cold, lifeless protagonist you see in many romantic comedies. His personality actually has depth. The contrast between him and the female lead creates a surprisingly natural and well-balanced dynamic that makes their relationship feel comfortable and believable.

I’ve watched plenty of anime built on similar clichés, ...

Guess this is gonna be my first review :3

I’ve become a rom-com stan over the years, and anything that has decent animation, solid characters, and a slightly above-average plot usually wins me over. Busu ni Hanataba Wo did just that. I’m always rooting for the underdog, and this was right up my alley. A shy, unconfident protagonist liking a more attractive man is a trope that isn’t done enough, and it was handled really well here.

Yes, there were moments where Tabata was more clueless than I’d like to admit, but it kept the story sweet, innocent, and heartwarming. I loved how they tied everything together ...
