I enjoyed Kill Blue's weekly chapters despite writing a not recommended review for it's manga, the rumoured axing of it being causal of it's abrupt ending was just so detrimental to the series as a whole for me. Hopefully a short anime will be able to get it's pacing right. This series has potential to be something fun.

good director and animation looking solid, will read the manga (which apparently got axed) and look forward to it.

Omg let’s go!! I’ve been wanting to read the manga. I’m glad it’s getting adapted.

Nepotism didn't stop the axe, but did get it an anime, smh.

Was Kill Blue axed recently?, because I'm surprised that the manga got an anime adaptation as it wasn't nearly as popular as Skaamoto Days in Weekly Shonen Jump or Spy x Family.

Another action comedy in the style of "a cool fighting professional gets into comedic silly situations"? Is Spy x Family still that influential?

Surprised that this out of all the Jump manga is getting an anime adaptation. But good for Fujimaki, I guess.

Literally last month, I made a comment on how this had no anime adaptation yet: https://xss.now.cc/forum/?topicid=2222164&msgid=72994893

And now, 1 month later, an anime for it is announced. But yeah, manga rating is 6.65 on MAL (with 2.3k votes)? Gonna keep my expectations low for this action-comedy.

Youchien Wars anime when? Gokurakugai anime when?

The manga became repetitive and boring. Let's hope the pacing and other problem will be solved in the anime version

@jacobPOL i doubt they will do 4 cours for this considering its an unpopular manga so best they can do is how summer time rending anime adaptation did all 130+ chapters in just 2 cours

@deg I doubt and this will be massively rushed through considering it depends on the density of the chapters as well, most weekly manga not necesarily text heavy and crammed at the same time like gintama detective conan per chapter for example but are still dense to very dense when it comes to density per chapter how many things can be going on thus also this translates to most anime adaptations based on weekly manga as well with them adapting 2 to 3 chapters thus adapting 60 chapters in 24 eps.

only 115 chapters so they can do it in 2 cours anime adaptation if they want like how summer time rendering did
