The official X (formerly Twitter) for Yuu Hashimoto's 2.5-jigen no Ririsa (2.5 Dimensional Seduction) manga announced that the series has ended, with the 201st chapter marking the conclusion of the manga's over six-year run on Saturday.

Hashimoto began drawing the comedy ecchi manga, which began on the Shounen Jump+ website in June 2019. Shueisha shipped the 24th volume on October 3, with the 25th and final volume scheduled for release on February 4, 2026. 2.5-jigen no Ririsa has a cumulative four million copies of its volumes in print.

J.C.Staff produced the 24-episode first season, which began in Summer 2024, and the second season is currently in production. HIDIVE is streaming the anime with subtitles.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English with its Ghost Ship imprint in June 2021. The 16th volume went on sale November 18, with the 17th volume set to be released on February 17, 2026.

Synopsis
"I have no interest in real girls!" So claims Okumura, the president of the school's manga club. He's your typical otaku, obsessed with a sexy (fictional) 2D manga character known as Lilliel. Then the new school year starts, and a (real!) 3D girl named Lilysa whose passion is cosplay joins the club. Lilysa convinces Okumura to become her photographer—and guess who her favorite manga character is? Not only that, but Lilysa is into modeling the fetishy stuff! The boundaries between 2D and 3D start to blur as this hot-blooded romantic comedy unfolds. (Source: Seven Seas Entertainment)

Looks like women's chests are a big focus in this one. Both under and over. 🤣

Not gonna lie this series probably had one the most beta cuck dense idiot male protagonist humanity has ever known in a fictional story but maaaaan the fanservice was really really good. Gonna miss them ... and no I am not talking about the characters.....

When I first heard about this series, I feared it was nothing more than a My Dress-Up Darling knockoff. By the end, it was far more than just than that.

With S2 on the way, if JC Staff sustains the pace of "70 chapters = 24 episodes", then they'll be able to adapt the entire manga with a third season (assuming that future seasons don't go below 24 episodes).

@Rom-Com_lover Season 1 ends at chapter 70. You can start from chapter 70 if you don't recall the ending of season 1; otherwise, start from chapter 71.
